Reporting non-english abuse
Ever since the Polish districts have been introduced I've been wondering: is there any point in reporting people who use foul language, abuse or harass others using the polish language? There is a lot of this going on, and I think part of the reason for this is that people using polish feel they will go unpunished, because even if I report them Anet will not be able to confirm wether the screenshots I submitted do contain abuse or not.

I have a fealing that if GW was published in Poland they have people who can read Polish that can ban people for that kind of thing, otherwise they wouldn't be able to enforce the EULA.

Even if they don't, (although I'm sure NCSoft Europe hires Polish people) there is a myriad of translation software out there that I'm sure they use.
They wouldn't open foreign language districts if they couldn't police them. If there is abuse going on, without a doubt, report it. |

Same for Dutch/Flemish. I'm pretty sure there is no translation software capable of translating Flemish.

Personally, I would report them anyway.
If the situatuon is serious enough for you to consider reporting someone, then the chances are that others will feel the same way. If ANet receive several reports of the same incident from different users, then the likelyhood would be that they will look into the matter further even if they cannot understand the specific language in question immediately. ANet and NC Soft are global companies, and i would be rather suprised if they could not come up with someone from the list of global employees who could not understand whatever language it happened to be. Just my opinions as always. |

Honestly, if the game is supported in a certain language, chances are they can GIVE support in that language... just makes sense.

I have been playing GW for about 18 months now and I have to say I have noticed a sharp increase in racial abuse , and I don't care if its 'street' talk its still offensive.

I would have thought for sure they'd have support for all different languages of the game but when I looked under support it had, English:US+UK, french, german, italian and spanish. No korean, no polish no any of the other nationalities we have playing this game.
NCSoft is korean and they don't even have support for that! What's up with that Anet/NCSoft? |

Send of a report via the normal channels and check with the polish fan site for assistance. Thats guildwars.pl by the way, maybe they have a PR rep assisting them. |

I personally think that it doesn't matter what language your talking if your cursing you should be suspended.I mean there can be ppl who are multi lingual (such as myself being born with a English tong and still speak Spanish) I have gone to Spanish districts and found ppl cursing in Spanish. What I recomend for anet is that a-net install a translator for only gw mods and them see when cursing so can suspend them. anyone agree?
